SAMURAI ships frequently. Latest release: **v4.8, July 13, 2026**. Highlights straight from the release log:

- **v4.8 (Jul 13, 2026), Policy Analyzer + new vendors**: effective-access computation, rule hygiene (shadowed / redundant / overly-broad), and per-rule risk scoring; Juniper SRX and VyOS support; a Detection Rules engine with dry-run and notify actions; Cisco ACI Fabric View, an interactive heatmap with host detail.
- **v4.7 (Jul 9, 2026), AI that manages itself**: AI Memory, a self-auditing knowledge base with a review council, bi-temporal facts that supersede on contradiction, and recall-quality gates with operator-tunable retention.
- **v4.5 (Jul 3, 2026), AI analysis**: agentic change analysis that classifies every configuration change; runs on your model (Ollama, OpenAI, Claude, or Amazon Bedrock).
